oin Mrs. Carter in the art room for a week of creative clay handbuilding, where we will explore pinch pot, slab, and coil techniques to craft your own functional pottery! While Mrs. Carter will introduce specific project ideas, students are encouraged to let their creativity shine and build whatever inspires them.
They’ll also experiment with underglaze decoration to add unique designs to their pieces. If any pieces remain undecorated, students are welcome to return to the art room in August to complete them to their satisfaction. By the end of the week, students will have created several decorated clay pieces.
All materials, tools, and firings are included in the class cost. Open to kids ages 9-14, this hands-on class promises plenty of messy, creative fun—don’t miss out! Parents will receive an email when finished pieces are ready for pickup.
