Explore Architecture: Puppets, Playgrounds & Earthships from Taos 

 

This Fall, join us as we explore mystical dwellings for mysterious cats, backyard tree forts, puppets and passive solar powered Earthships from Taos. We’ll make a Monster House, talk about upcycling and water harvesting, create floor plans and build a tensile structure!

 

Wicked Workshop is a maker-based program that introduces youth to architecture through reality-based projects that tackle the same "wicked" problems that architects face. We teach decision-making strategies, complex problem solving, and critical thinking skills valuable for work, life and citizenship. Our straightforward, hands-on curriculum is based on authentic projects that foster independent thinking, self-directed learning, exploration, iteration and creativity – tools that help kids navigate all aspects of their learning journey.
