In this engaging enrichment camp for students in grades K–5, young artists will explore beloved children’s books and use them as inspiration to create their own original artwork. Each session begins with a read-aloud of a carefully selected story, followed by a guided art project that connects to the book’s characters, themes, or illustrations.
Students will experiment with a variety of age-appropriate art materials such as crayons, markers, paint, collage materials, and mixed media. Along the way, they will learn how illustrators tell stories through color, line, texture, and design—all while building confidence as creative thinkers and artists.
