Prepare to excel in 8th grade accelerated math with a camp designed to challenge, strengthen, and inspire motivated students. This Math Jumpstart Camp is designed specifically for students entering Math 8 Accelerated, giving them the skills, strategies, and mindset they need to thrive from day one.
Throughout the camp, students will:
Master advanced pre-algebra skills and algebra readiness
Solve multi-step linear equations and inequalities
Work with functions, proportional relationships, and slope
Strengthen fluency with exponents and scientific notation
Explore systems of equations and introductory quadratic concepts
Build familiarity with the required TI-84 calculator
