This section is for new to FIRST LEGO League second graders. Come join us for the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) starting the week of October 27th, 2026 . Students will partner with Westlake High School’s varsity robotics team (2468 Team Appreciate) in a six-week guided adventure with LEGO Spike Essentials ending in one day tournament/exhibition at Westlake High School. Enrolled students will be building and programming a robot to solve the challenges in the FIRST LEGO League Dive Challenge. The weekly challenges will lead to preparation for a December 12th exhibtion at Westlake High School. The high school counselors will lead the once-a-week, hour-long sessions with the assistance of an Eanes teacher per session. Enrolled students will be working in sessions with fellow 2nd graders. All sessions will be grouped by grade level, previous skills and will work in pairs with a LEGO kit to solve the challenges. This is a hands-on program.
