Creative Brick Builders LEGO Trip to the Zoo: Animal Brickologist 

It's a wild world out there! In this camp, wilderness adventurers will have brickloads of fun building and learning about the animal kingdom. Campers will learn about two different animals each day, will play LEGO® games, and will create craft projects to take home. Each day will offer both creative expression and challenge build options for builders to create animals and their habitats, using our amazing assortment of LEGO® bricks. Each camper takes home a LEGO nametag, a minifigure and an accessory at the end of each camp session.

Games Galore with Kate Ricter [June 4th] 

Do you enjoy playing games and teaching them to others? Then Games Galore is the place for you! This group of fellow problem solvers will try out some new games and enjoy a variety of old favorites. Each day will have a specific focus such as video games, board games, card games, dice games, and active games. Participants will also have the opportunity to design their own video game and traditional board game. If you love working together, friendly competition, and having fun, come join us in Games Galore!

Creative Brick Builders: LEGO Super Heroes and Villains 

Avenging and Justice-seeking heroes are up against the villains in this super-powered adventure. Campers will identify their own character's super powers, design a cape and costume, build LEGO® models and crafts representing their favorite super characters, and play games designed to test their special abilities. In the end, good triumphs over evil, and the Super Heroes will save the day! Each camper takes home a LEGO nametag, a minifigure and an accessory at the end of each camp session.

Stop Motion Animation 3rd-6th grade with Kate Ricter [June 11th] 

During this week-long camp, participants will work alongside BPE librarian, Ms. Ricter, to direct an original stop motion animated film. Students will spend time creating a storyboard, writing a script, and designing their own props and background. Then they will bring their film to life through the power of technology. Campers will choose from a variety of apps to animate, edit, and add sound to their films. At the end of the week, they will host a mini film festival to showcase their movies.

Creative Brick Builders: LEGO City Designers and Builders 

Plan and build city structures and landscapes using LEGO® bricks! Campers will work in teams to explore different roles to design and build the city of their dreams, using guided creative building activities. Architects will plan a road, propose a monument, and design a park or school. Engineers will learn to create strong, large structures like skyscrapers and bridges. Builders will put on “safety hats” and assemble models of construction vehicles and equipment, and finally, they will create rescue and fire vehicles to serve their newly created brick community. Each camper takes home a LEGO nametag, a minifigure and an accessory at the end of each camp session.

Creative Brick Builders: LEGO Pokemania- Build to Catch 'em All! 

LEGO enthusiasts will train imaginative Pokémon® creatures in a brick-built universe they create. Trainers will create pet monsters made of LEGO® bricks, focusing on a different elemental type (water, fire, grass, and more) each day. Build a sphere using square bricks to create a PokeBall, play Pokémon® games, and complete crafts to take home. Campers may bring their own Pokémon® trading cards if they wish to play and trade at the end of each day. Each camper takes home a LEGO nametag, a minifigure and an accessory at the end of each camp session.

Crazy Action Contraptions (CAC.) Here's your chance to be creative and a little wacky, too. We'll be making some very "crazy and bizarre" contraptions that will truly amaze you. Your imagination can go "wild" with ideas on how to create even more complicated mechanical wonders. With motors, gears, pulleys, wheels of various sizes, and tons of other cool LEGO pieces at your disposal, this class will show you what "craziness" is all about!!!

Robotics Technology - AM 

Freshman Robotics (FR). You can collaborate with your teammates to prepare an infrared wireless robot for a variety of activity-based challenges. Students will explore the use of motors, gears, pulleys and IR technology while building Lego Robot inventions. Each build will be followed by a thrilling challenge that illustrates the need for "simplicity" and the pitfalls of "complexity".

Creative Brick Builders: LEGO Dino Park Expedition 

Extreme brick adventures ahead! Campers will team up to complete a prehistoric expedition, where they will encounter amazing dinosaurs that lived during the Jurassic period. Teams will learn about different dinosaurs and explore a different disaster each day that may have caused the dinosaursar extinction. Adventures will include making a fossil and dinosaur crafts, constructing disaster models, and building a base camp for their team of brick explorers using LEGO® bricks.
