Reminder: Notify your child's teacher that your child will be attending Community Education classes and will need to go to every class meeting.
 
 
2-hour class sessions: Use digital cameras and SAM Animation software to create stop-motion animated movies using Lego mini-figures.  You will then use video editing software to add titles, credits, dialog and sound effects.  Design your own set with backgrounds, characters, and scenery.  The stories are up to your imagination!  Students take home a CD with their movies at the end of the class.

Little Medical School brings medicine, science, and the importance of health to children in an entertaining, exciting, and fun way.  Through hands-on demonstrations, crafts and games, children are actively engaged as they explore the world of medicine, learn how the body works, how to use instruments that doctors use, and administer ?rst aid.  Small class led by a certi?ed Little Medical School teacher ensures individual attention.  Each child receives their own working stethoscope and a diplo as a graduate of Little Medical School at the completion of the program.  Classes are designed and developed by a team of board certified physicians.

2-hour class sessions: Microsoft's Kodu is a visual programming language, designed for video game development. Students create their own 3-D worlds, add characters, make them interact or complete tasks. They will also program scoring, spawning characters, dialogue, enemy objects, timers, health and various game levels. This course builds skills by challenging students to analyze a problem and structure their solution. Kodu provides the logic and problem solving of programming without complex syntax.  Students will take home a CD with their projects at the end of class.
