Learn How to Program in Python

Learn how to program with Python, which is the fastest growing programming language. We will be learning how to use an online coding environment to develop programs. We will learn how to use variables, data types, expressions, input, output, Boolean logic, if/else statements, for loops and while loops, arrays (lists), built in functions, and write functions. Many real-world examples will be utilized. We will also be flying drones using code! • Computers will be provided. • Camp counselors are members of the WHS Robotics team. • Taught by Lynden Rosier, Eanes ISD teacher, and supervised by Westlake Robotics Coach Norman Morgan. • Grades: Completed 5th-8th grades (rising 6-9)
