Calling all storytellers and cartoonists! In this exciting writing and illustration camp, students will become real authors and bring their own books to life. Inspired by the playful storytelling style of authors like Mo Willems, campers will explore how to create memorable characters, add humor, write dialogue, and design expressive illustrations.
Throughout the week, students will brainstorm ideas, sketch characters, draft stories, and create their very own finished book or comic to take home. Whether your child loves silly stories, talking animals, or cartoon-style adventures, this camp will spark imagination and build confidence in writing and creativity.
We’ll end the week with an Author Celebration where campers can share their stories and showcase their published masterpieces!
