Westlake Diving Novice

ClassGraphic Get to work with the High School Coaching Staff and current members of the swim and dive team. This group is the best choice for kids that have little to no prior experience diving or flipping into a pool or body of water.   They will learn how to jump off a diving board, dive in the water head first going forwards and backwards, and how to safely perform flips  They should have little or no gymnastics/tumbling experience and will be their first diving camp.  
 
Kids should not have an overly active fear of heights or water, should be good listeners, and should be able to swim confidently.
All swimmers must be able to cross the length of the pool unassisted multiple times.
